Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Secure Software Developer to join our remote team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure software applications using our technology stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of security principles and hands-on experience with software development in MERN, Flutter, Firebase, Angular, and Next.js.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain secure software applications that adhere to industry security standards and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to create secure and scalable software solutions.
- Conduct thorough security reviews of code and application architecture to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Implement secure coding practices and integrate security features into software development projects.
- Monitor and improve the performance, security, and reliability of existing software systems.
- Document security measures, coding standards, and system architecture to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Provide prompt technical support and troubleshoot security-related issues within software applications.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance security measures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Hands-on experience with Flutter and Firebase.
- Knowledge of Angular and Next.js.
- In-depth understanding of software security concepts (e.g., encryption, secure coding, threat modeling).
- Proven experience in developing secure software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to implement security features and best practices in software development projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
