Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Cyber Security Officer (CISO) to lead our cybersecurity strategy and operations remotely. This executive role involves developing and implementing robust security strategies to protect our company’s and clients’ digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices, advanced threat management, and a proven track record of leading cybersecurity initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to safeguard the organization’s information systems and data.
• Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance on best practices, threat detection, and incident response.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align cybersecurity initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of security architecture, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of security measures, staying updated on emerging threats and technological advancements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security practices, incident responses, and compliance requirements.
• Foster a culture of security awareness across the organization through training and communication.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity leadership roles, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective security strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Expertise in risk management, threat detection, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a cybersecurity team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
